This week we are joined by our second guest speaker of the season, Colin Jarvis.

Colin is a masters graduate in photography and has worked as a photographer and an educator for many years.

His work has been exhibited in London, Liverpool and Manchester and he is a skilled practitioner in both digital and large format film photography.

His talk this week will be an examination of his journey to gaining his masters in photography. His portfolio explores the theme of space and place, and investigates what he terms ‘non-places’. These non-places are those in between places we travel through, beautifully designed building with no resonance either relationally, historically or in terms of identify.

Preview a selection of some of Colin’s work, including his masters portfolio.
