9.00-12.00 Portrait workshop
Organised by Ruth Lochrie
We spent the morning photographing three models in 17th-century costume, using three lighting sets. This allowed everyone to experiment with lighting styles and we all learned loads about strobe and fixed light photography.
14.00-1600 Photoshop layers workshop
Organised by Brad Cheek
Half a dozen of us spent the afternoon learning about layers, masks and adjustment layers, and by the end of the afternoon, everyone had had hands-on experience. After the workshop, Carole produced the above image of one of her cats (above) using her new-found layer skills. We determined that we are going to have another session in 6 weeks time, where we will work on specific tasks.
