On Monday evening members went out into Lancaster centre in small groups to capture a series of images that would reflect positively on the historic, night time character of our City. The predetermined subjects were; St John’s Church; Dalton Square and Town Hall; The Priory Church and Castle Precinct; Lancaster canal and Water Witch; and 3 pubs of their choice.
Our camera and tripod clad members set forth in a competitive spirit, attracted curious glances from the City’s more regular night time visitors and had many fine images to compare and much to discuss at the conclusion of the evening. On our February 11, club night members will come together to study the best images produced by each group and select the winning group. A fitting prize will be awarded and we will add the best images to our infant, photographic archive of the city
