Lancaster Photographic Society is for anyone with an interest in photography. Everyone is welcome! We are people who make pictures purely for the joy of making pictures. Our members use all kinds of photographic equipment, from film cameras to the latest DSLRs to mobile phones. The photographic equipment that you have isn't important, so come along and learn how to develop your photography skills.
We meet on Monday evenings, 7.30 til about 10 (and then on to the White Cross pub next door), with formal meetings from September to May, and workshops and trips over the summer months.
Meetings are held at:
White Cross Industrial Estate
LANCASTER LA1 4XF
A mobile Loop System is available at Cameron House. It is located next to the First Aid box on the wall rack adjacent to the Pool table. Cameron House also has free wi-fi - the password is displayed on the wall in the meeting room.

Lancaster Photographic Society is a non-profit making organisation. Your fees are spent on venue hire, guest speakers and equipment, some of which you can borrow.
Any member can have a gallery on the website. Please use the contact form if you have some entries for your members' gallery, to discuss how to upload your images.
In addition, it is possible for the Society to host a members website at no extra cost to the member, though the individual member will be responsible for constructing and editing their site, and backing it up. Guidance is available to members on setting up, maintaining and backing up your site. Please contact the webmaster if you are interested in exploring this.
