Harry Pye

Harry Pye was a committee member and subsequently President of the Society in the 1990s. Here are some examples of his work and a taste of the minutes of meetings around that time.

He clearly travelled widely, and also took some photographs of Lancaster at that time. The dark haired lady in the majority of the was Aunty Peggy his wife also a couple of them feature his in-laws.

He was known by at least two of our current members. The photographs and some equipment were kindly donated by his Niece. He died in 1999.
